F.A.Q.

Q: When is the story updated?

A: I aim to do it every day, and have it finished by 2 PM UTC the story should be updated. [Check timezones here]

Q: What is the process?

A: Well, usually after I wake up and before going to work I stop the voting and tally the votes.
Then I smack my head against the keyboard until something resembling words come out, I quickly doodle something related to that. After that is done I get the new form ready and upload the new page to Twitter, Tumblr and Blogger as fast as possible.

Q: I see too many options saying similar stuff, but none about what I want to do. Why is that?

A: All the options (except Wait) are added by people that voted before you did. Just select "Other..." and add what you think the character should do next. Everyone that comes after you will have that option available now.

Q: Why is there always a "Wait" or "Do Nothing" option when voting?

A: Google Forms demands a default choice. So I decided to add a non-obtrusive one. That's why there is always a "Wait" option. Usually it doesn't get more than two votes. I might change the word at some point.

Q: Where can I ask you a question or leave you a comment?

A: If you have Tumblr or Twitter, you can contact me there. [My Tumblr] [My Twitter]
You can also leave comments on this blog below, or you can just leave a comment on the voting form. The comments in the voting form are something only I can see.

Q: Where can I read the author's comments when a road is taking us towards death?

A: In the current story (Welcome to Grimmschaft) there is no player death planned, so dumb choices will have repercussions, just not the kind that end without the main character killed.
That said, I usually leave a small comment after every post in Tumblr and Twitter.

Q: This thing is full of typos!

A: That is not a question, but yes, this thing is full of typos.
Fun fact: art software does not have a spellchecker.
Most of the time I'm making the page of the day, I'm in a hurry, doing it before my workday starts.
This also means I don't have the time to ask people to proofread the comic for me.
Typos happen, grammatical errors exist and sometimes I even fuck up with the continuity of the art too!

Q: How come my vote did not win? I'm pretty sure I hijacked it with a lot of votes!

A: Yeah, and then by doing that you forced me to recheck all the votes by hand, erase your "extra votes" and do the tally myself instead of using the results provided by the form.
Thank you so much for the extra work. </sarcasm>
Please don't abuse the voting system. If this becomes an issue then I will be forced to demand people to login to the form with their Google accont.
I know a lot of people do not want to have their account names in anyway related to adult stuff, so forcing a login means the votes will dwindle.

Please feel free to ask questions.
